Careless drivers are now paying the price
Drivers who are careless when using the roads are now at risk of paying a high premium when it comes to their car insurance.
Drivers who are now caught and convicted of driving without due care and attention, not only face a fine and points on their license, they will now have to pay a higher premium which can be up to 27% higher then the normal premium.
Car Insurance companies are thought to be clamping down on this problem and the prospect of paying higher premiums which can be up £200 more, will hopefully deter drivers from driving without care and attention.
So those drivers who are reckless, take note you could be paying more for your Car Insurance if you are caught and convicted of driving carelessly.
